Power line grid model
Csiba, Patrik ; Sláčik, Ján (referee) ; Mlýnek, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis analyzes the PLC communications in various scenarios. The first part of the thesis describes the principle of narrowband and broadband communication and the analysis of electrical lines. The next part describes the NS-3 framework, simulation scenarios for establishment the effect of branches and other parameters on the baud rate. The last part determines the minimum number of repeaters and their location on the extended topology.
Implementation of New Terminal Nodes to the Company and it’s Management
Lukeš, Pavel ; Šumbera, Tomáš (referee) ; Ondrák, Viktor (advisor)
This thesis deals with analysis of company’s MBG, spol. s r.o. problems, following with teoretical basis for these problems and in the end, it suggests the solutions. These problems are insufficient monitoring, any of used technology are old and absent of any information security management system. The first part is focused on a teoretical basis for the described problems, the second part will completely analyze all mentioned problems of a company. Final part will contain a solution for every company’s problem, based on theory and analysis with taking care about company’s demand too.
Methods for measurement of data network performance and quality parameters
Sukup, Luboš ; Zeman, Václav (referee) ; Novotný, Vít (advisor)
Master thesis involves the development of quality measurement issues and performance parameters in data networks. It describes the main technologies as they affect the quality and performance parameters and the effect of these parameters for voice, video and data services. Next are listed some methods for measuring parameters of the data network. In the practical part is selected one method of measuring network parameters and properties of this method are demonstrated by illustrative examples.
Extension and renovation of communication network in the area of high school
Valný, Jakub ; Sedlák, Petr (referee) ; Novotný, Vít (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with a proposal for the expansion and modernization of a computer network in the high school building. The analytical part of the work describes the current state of the computer network, the building itself and the requirements of the investor. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the information needed to develop the design itself. The design section describes my own project elaboration. The last part of this work is the economic evaluation of the proposal.
Using OMNeT++ simulator in teaching telecommunication technologies
Jalůvka, Jiří ; Zeman, Václav (referee) ; Novotný, Vít (advisor)
Main goal of this thesis is to familiarize with possibilities in simulating environment OMNeT++ with use of pre-integrated models or models imported from INET Framework. Simulated LAN networks created by 802.3 standard (ethernet) and 802.11 (Wi-Fi) will be performed in this simulation environment. In such networks, data traffic will be created at the application layer (video streaming, telnet, etc.) using the TCP and UDP transport protocol. For the UDP transport protocol graph will show a delay between end-to-end network elements in the first and second example and a jitter grap in the second practical example. For the TCP transport protocol will be performed „three-way handshake process“. Also, multi-way signal spread is shown by 802.11 standard.
Project and System Architecture of Publik Data Transmission network in Mokrý Háj
Hladký, Michal ; Možnár, Ivo (referee) ; Ondrák, Viktor (advisor)
Project and system architecture of public data transmission network in Mokrý Háj. Network will be built up by firm Blue Computers with place of business in Skalica. Infrastructure of network is built with wireless technologies operating in 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, and also with wired systems.
Simulation of data networks in OMNeT++
Závodný, Ondřej ; Novotný, Vít (referee) ; Skořepa, Michal (advisor)
The content of this work is to research possibilities of simulation data networks in a simulating environment OMNeT++ with INET framework and at observance of standards 802.3 (ethernet) and 802.11 (Wi-Fi).\ In a given environment will be simulated handover in a Wi-Fi network and on the second layer of the reference model ISO/OSI. In this example will be processed visualization of the conditions and sending informations between network elements.\ In the next practical example will be simulated the operation on the application layer (video current, ftp communication) at using a relevant transport protocols (UDP,TCP). For routing between network elements will be utilized configuration files. By transport protocol UDP will be displayed a delay graph between final elements and jitter, by TCP protocol will be represented so-called three-way-handshake.
Network data traffic analysis and modeling
Šabatka, Zdeněk ; Molnár, Karol (referee) ; Růčka, Lukáš (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis is focused on analysis of network traffic and its modeling. In the thesis, there are described various methods of traffic modeling, both current and modern, and historical, for contemporary traffic inconvenient. The first part is focused on the theoretical analysis of these models, there are also mentioned basis formulas. In the second part, practical, there is capcured real WWW traffic. In the last part, that real network traffic is modeled using Markov model.
